In this series of prints ‘Tempo Rubato’ literally ‘robbed time’ is named after a musical time signature whose beat is slightly slower or faster than a strict metronomical one. In these strange days of the pandemic life has taken on a different pace. Time has changed its rhythm; we keep dancing until normality resumes. This series was created from a dance video by Chinese dancer Kehua Li, or ‘Lico’, with the performer’s permission.
