Solo Show Breaking Bread
June 6 - 10th at the Swiss Church, Endell Street, London
An exhibition of new work exploring the common meal at the heart of Christian worship.
Last June Ashman invited a group of deaf dancers to perform a piece around the meaning of Communion in the Swiss Church London. She invited Emil Kunda to make a film of the piece and produced 12 large scale photo etchings over the course of the year. The finished work will be on show in the space for a week in June 2022.
